Poles love soups, and our cuisine is particularly rich in them. Recipes for soups such as chicken soup, tomato soup and red borscht are known to everyone, even a novice cook. Soup is a dish that regularly appears on the tables. We also like experiments more and more, so Thai soups, for example with shrimp, are also gaining popularity.
In the autumn and winter season, we especially recommend goulash, cucumber, lentil and onion soups, as well as pumpkin, broccoli and carrot cream. In summer, Lithuanian cold soup or Spanish gazpacho are indispensable. Polish soups are considered one of the best in the world – for good reason! Importantly, the soup can be a separate meal, although it is often eaten as a first course.
